Podcasting

I’ve taken the next step in turning my audio blog entries into actual podcast episodes.
I have established an account with MyPodcast for hosting the files and creating the RSS feed.
To test it out I have uploaded the last audio file I put here (episode 3) to the new site. You can see it here – JohnStuff Podcast Site.
This site has the option in the right hand column to subscribe to the episodes via an RSS link, and an iTunes link. You can also play the file directly using the web player in the site.
I will probably put the show notes here with the audio files being hosted there.

The Last of the Big Three Passes Away

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

Arthur C. Clark died today at the age of 90.

I grew up reading a lot of Arthur C. Clark along with Isaac Asimov and Robert Heinlein. Asimov died in 1992 and Heinlein in 1988. Together these men were often referred to as the “Big Three” of science fiction.

Here are Wikipedia links to each:
Arthur C. Clark
Isaac Asimov
Robert Heinlein
