JohnStuff Christmas

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

I had a really good Christmas this year. In addition to a lot of really nice presents I managed to get a couple of quite unexpected items.

First, an 80 Gig Zune –
I’m really enjoying this. I have moved all my (30+) audio podcast subscriptions over to the Zune software and am checking out some video podcasts since the Zune has a nice display screen.

Second , a USB turntable -
This is great. I have a ton of records that need to be digitized and this will make it a lot easier than the way I had previously been converting them. The only thing I need is a USB extension cable since I had to set up the turntable a little further away from the computer than the length of the supplied cable.

On another note – yes, I do have another audio entry planned; at least I know some notes. I will probably get around to that within the next week or so.

Audio Entry 2

Here’s another audioblog entry. This one was recorded 12-19-2007 and runs 5:37 so it’s a little over twice as long as the last one.

I also played around with some music and sound bites.

Audio Blog

I’m thinking of trying something new. I am considering doing audio blog entries. I would record my thoughts and uploading a small mp3 file.

To listen you would play the file by clicking the > symbol. Here is what it looks like:

NOTE* There is no sound associated with this file, but you can click it to see how it works.

Great Product Review

A guy in England bought a BIC pen from Amazon.com and then wrote a review for his new pen. It’s a long review. And be sure to read the comments added by other people below the review.
